Help & FAQ

Common questions about printing, setup, and using the platform.

Printing Accuracy

My magnets printed smaller than 2" — what happened?
The most common cause is Chrome's print dialog defaulting to "Default" scale rather than 100%. This quietly shrinks output by a few percent to account for the printer's non-printable margins, even when the template has margin: 0 set in CSS. Fix: open the print dialog → More settings → Scale → change from "Default" to 100.
How do I set print scale to 100% in Chrome?
1. Open the print page and click "Print / Save PDF" 2. In the Chrome print dialog, click "More settings" 3. Find "Scale" and change the value from "Default" to 100 4. Click Print This tells Chrome to render the template at its true CSS size, so inch measurements map directly to physical inches on paper.
I set Scale to 100% but my prints are still the wrong size — what next?
Use the Printer Calibration panel in the admin Print Queue tab (⚙ Configure → Printer Calibration). Click "Print Test Page", measure the printed reference square with a ruler, enter the measurement, and click Apply & Save. This is a one-time setup per printer — the correction is saved for the whole business and applied automatically to every print job going forward (individual order reprints and the print queue), so you don't need to recalibrate for each order.
Does the Chrome Scale setting work on iPhone?
No. On iOS, all browsers (including Chrome) are required by Apple to use the system AirPrint sheet, which doesn't offer a Scale control. If you're printing from an iPhone and the size is off, calibrate once from the Print Queue's Printer Calibration panel instead — the correction applies automatically after that, regardless of which device you print from.
